The Huawei RRU5502 is a dual-band multi-mode remote radio unit (RRU) designed for macro base station deployments.
It supports 1800 MHz (Band 3) and 2100 MHz (Band 1) concurrently, enabling multi-RAT operation including GSM, UMTS, LTE FDD, NB-IoT (SUL), and NR FDD.
Each band provides 4T4R (4 transmit, 4 receive), allowing simultaneous 4×4 MIMO on both frequency bands for enhanced capacity and coverage.
