Overview

The Nokia RRU FRGX is a high-power 3-sector RF module for 2100 MHz (Band 1) LTE FDD and WCDMA networks. Designed for outdoor macro sites, it integrates three transmit paths in one compact, IP-rated enclosure to deliver wide coverage, high capacity and low site OPEX.

Detailed Description

FRGX consolidates three 80 W transmit chains and corresponding receive paths into one outdoor radio, reducing footprint and cabling versus three discrete radios. With 60 MHz instantaneous bandwidth and 2×2 MIMO per sector, it supports high traffic loads while maintaining excellent RF efficiency and uplink sensitivity typical of Nokia Flexi radios. AISG 2.0 enables remote electrical tilt and other antenna-line device controls. The IP65 housing, passive cooling and compact mechanics make it suitable for rooftops, towers and tight urban sites.
